The start of a new week, and what a start it has been! Today at lunch time, we severed a flavoursome beef curry with a tomato base and also including carrots, celery, onion and mixed peppers! Our halal customers had halal beef, and we also provided a “no red meat” chicken curry, and a vegan alternative, all served with rice and fresh green peas. For a delicious dessert we provided a lovely slice of rhubarb cake! Rhubarb is currently in season, so we decided to celebrate it at Hungry Moose and turn it into a bitter-sweet pudding in the form of a sponge cake, with layers of the colourful vegetable!
